Morrissey was surpingly great at the Alley Palley. He made it, alive, and didn’t storm off stage ‘cos someone threw a cup at him. He actually did a whole concert, complete with How Soon Is Now? and it was bloody brilliant. I also got to meet Steve Pemberton or The League of Gentlemen who I thanked for two of my favourite comedies ever (The League and Psychoville). My brother also saw Russell Brand in the toilets… We stayed the night after in Brizzel with my younger brother and had a nice evening of Trivial Pursuit and Guess the Intro. Now we’re home and it is distinctly wintery today. I am debating whether or not to make the Christmas cake or just be plain lazy… |

No posts for October. Oh dear. I really must get round to deleting this blog, but I hang back from it. I have had it – on-and-off due to a hard drive wipe – since 2003. Nearly as long as I have had Chicken. Gulp. Well, Paris was lovely. Did loads of tourist things and finally went to Versailles and Ste-Chappell, which was stunningstunningstunning. Chicken has a new job – hooray for him! He is hoping to start at the end of this month. This Thursday I am – all being well with his lungs – going to see Morrissey in London. Exciting stuff. I have my finger’s crossed for How Soon is Now? and, of course, There is a Light That Never Goes Out… So, if a ten tonne truck kills the both of us………. This blog will be like a little memorial to me. What a hideous thought… |
