It’s his fault his didn’t lock the garage…

There has been a sad loss to cinema today, with the death at 59 of John Hughes.

Ramble

We haven’t had much of a summer. Again. Beautiful sunshine the first week of June and very little since. Bah.

I hardly have time to post any more, so I am sorry but this blog will be at best erratic! What have we been up to? Well, working hard, a visit to the West Midlands for Chicken’s Aunt’s Golden Wedding party, watching Psychoville and the Swedish Wallander (and Chicken persists in viewing Top Gear and I watch Desperate Romantics for Samuel Barnett…), we’ve booked our Paris apartment for our holiday later in the year, bell-ringing, walking Ferris in the rain, swimming, searching for my lost History Boys DVD and sleeping rather a lot.

Life. Hooray.
