In like a lamb, out like a tanned lamb

What a lovely week it has been, all but for Wednesday morning, when we were misty up until around 10:30, it has been sun shine all the way. It is amazing what a difference it makes to people; smiley faces greet you everywhere! I had/have some holiday to use up, so on Monday I hada day off and went allotment shopping with my eldest brother. We got a lot of seeds and I got all the stuff for my hanging baskets. I didn’t attempt these last year, but I thought after starting on the allotment I’d give them a go this year and now I have four baskets and one pot with pansies, a tiny fir like bush and ivy spilling out over the edges. Quite pleased. We had a good dig over of the ‘lotty, too. It looks much less daunting this year, as far as weeds are so far concerned. Dad will retovate it for us, hopefully over the weekend and my bro is bringing on various seeds at home, too. Other than that my time is taken up with dog walking, pony lead-roping, bathroom bits and bobs, gymming and working. Poor old Wagon R may be going to the big garage in the sky, but we await to see what can be done by the garage down here in Barnstaple… Comments Off |
