Revolutionary Rants

Because Everything's Political

The tullips of Amsterdam

Well, well, well. Ages since a post from me. Oh dear, November apathy has crept in to the Rants…

We just had a long weekend in Amsterdam. We had a rather nice apartment and the tram system was excellent. We saw the Anne Frank Huis (very moving), the Van Gogh Museum (a let down, sadly), the Heineken Experience (an advert you had to pay to see!) and had a canal cruise (great fun). We met the spliff Santa on the canal, we went to see the ‘ladies of the night’ and we ate at some nice places. All in all, a good place to visit.

Now we have house things to concentrate on for a bit and the Christmas celebrations to look forward to before 2009 starts. The shopping for Christmas is going really quite badly at the moment, November apathy again, possibly? Not good!

Ferris is now one year old, he had a jolly day on his birthday where our old dog Dexter sang to him and he got a variety of squeaking items as gifts. We have also lived in our home for a year now, as we moved in the day before Ferris was born.

Anyhoo, swimming calls…
