North and South; Winter and Autumn

Hmmm, no goals yet, but the Gooners have had 62% possession so far. Good-oh. However, after losing to Stoke I have little hope for us today. Finger’s are crossed in the cottage, let us say. Well, Mr Chicken’s are not, they are soaking in a hot bath as we speak, but he refuses stoutly to involve himself in Arsenal related things at all times. Meanie. Or sensibly, perhaps? So, life is good. Autumn is turning in to winter, big bad icy winds are a-blowing round the village and I am sat at the table looking out over a lovely variety of browns, golds and oranges as the leaves die with the year. I have taken to the new MacBook, and Big Wig looks on reproachfully as I write. I even play Diablo II on here, which has upset Biggy. We have discovered that Ferris, like so many other dogs, hates fireworks this week. He bristles up at the first pop in the night sky and sits watchfully at the window with his eyes wide and worried. I think tonight will be the worst night for them, too, as so far the wind and drizzle have put most people off. WHOAAAAAAA! Goal! For Arsenal, too! Goo-ners! Gooooooo-nnnerrrrss! Anyhoo, DIY and cupboard clearing calls. Ho-hum. Comments Off |
