After a full-on Jess phone call to the customer adviser – and him insisting on us bringing the car up to check we were telling the truth (and being surprised we were!) – we have had a full refund of the money. Phew. |

Aha, the old Lambda Sensor problem. On my, admittedly elderly, Fiat the so called ‘Fuel Injection’ light has been coming on at random for years now. I don’t let it worry my pretty little head; if the car still goes and it gets through the MOT, leave it alone. It is only when it is on all the time that you need to worry. When that happens, simply replace the Lambda Sensor.
Of course this is not cheap, but then again no car repair is, that is the only way the motor industry seems to make money, certainly they don’t by selling cars though I have yet to see a poor car dealer.
On the other hand I have just had a call from the garage, and they suspect my exhaust…
I really should have got that new car.
Good luck with the complaint…
