Yesterday we met our new family member. He is a two month old Jack Russell pup; black, tan and white. We are collecting him next Tuesday to come and live with us and we are very, very happy. We haven’t decided on his name yet, though. The week has gone really quickly, both of us busy at work and enjoying our evenings in the warm (well, on Thursday we had a pub meal as well, but only in the village). Currently time for ranting is limited, but you can find another article over at the People’s Republic today, I think. I suppose I should be rueful of the fact that I am not related to an MP and therefore more likely to have a job in Westminster, but actually I am pretty glad I didn’t go in to political research and headed off in the social care direction! As far as Chicken and I are concerned we would rather take the plus-sides of living in Devon than the filthy luca of work in des capital. Anyhoo, we are off for a walk soon and spending some of the weekend dog proofing everything so more anon. |
