Deliver Us From Evil and to Rockham beach

Yallop bookToday has been an almost perfect day. We woke up early (8:00am or so, early for a Saturday), rested and fresh after a long nights sleep (we couldn’t face David Gest on Friday Night Project). After breakfast and a bath I came downstairs to discover a book lying near the post box. My Mum had brought me a book about the Yorkshire Ripper (Deliver Us From Evil by David Yallop) which I have been hunting all over for for yonks! Very exciting, some people have been charging around £200 for it on Amazon, so it is brilliant she could source it and get it. A lovely, lovely gift.

Then, shortly after, Mr C and I drove to the caravan and walked down to Rockham beach. We swam in the sea, which was fantastic and not too cold after you got yourself immersed. We walked back up and on the return drive stopped for a bitter/bitter shandy in the sun shine. Smashing stuff.

Now, stuffed with tea, it is time for a relaxing evening!

Is it just me, but I never expected to hear the Yorkshire Ripper and ‘lovely, lovely’ in the same paragraph. Now I come to think about it though, isn’t there a rather nasty film where the villain of the piece says “lovely, lovely” at the appearance of his next victim?
She is the weird woman…
