Wow, the sun is shining today! It was, according to the weather forecast on the Beeb, due to be pouring again, but it isn’t! Hooray, hooray. It is not quite the blazing sun we had at this time last summer, but it’ll do. I am off to investigate the tennis courts at Rock Park in a bit, because Alex and I are interested in trying out a little bit of very non-competitive tennis, inspired by our play on the Wii. One of our Gunner idols, Theirry Henry, has proven himself, like Dirk Bogarde, to be something of a fallen idol. He needed to get away from “everything English” and this included his wife of four years and two year old child, apparently. Deary me… I can’t believe how great it is to have some sunshine - it just goes to show how little we must have had so far this year… |
