Another weekend has flitted by. Chicken, as you know, worked on Saturday and has gained a day and a half of holiday time in its place. Very nice, too. We have a visit from one of Mr C’s school pals next month and we are hoping to make a trip to Edinburgh later this year, so it’ll come in handy. The shorter weekend was not so good, especially as we had to spend yesterday buying a washing machine (AAA rated, of course) and taking the old one to the dump. Booooring stuff indeed. We played on the Wii for a lot of the rest of the day, so much so that we both have painful arms today. In fact, that’s enough blogging for now because my wrist keeps cracking in a scary way… |
