Another Gunner gone

The ex-chairpersonBye-bye David Dein, then. Can’t say as I’ll miss him much. I will give up on the Gunners if we get brought by a Yank, tho’. It is all too corporate these days… I can no longer imagine myself smiling proudly as my daughter or son (should there ever be such a creature) cheers on the Gooners through their first F A Cup final (the kid’s, not Arsenal’s, obviously), but I can’t help but hope that someone will still buy them a ‘I’m the best dribbler at Highbury’ bib (I refuse to name the new stadium by its “official” title, another proof of the capitalisation of footie).

Today is sunny again, meaning no need for a coat as I: hung-up washing, paid for the Registry Office, did some stuff for Addaction, brought hair grips and spray, went to the library and purchased pink birthday wrapping paper. Glory be. Indeed.

Glory not be that the recyclers haven’t been… Damn them.
