Revolutionary Rants

Because Everything’s Political

A saintly day

Equus film posterSorry for the lack of posting, I had BPAG on Tuesday and training all day yesterday in Bideford. The training was excellent, going over alcohol and effects on the body; we found out about GABAs and the liver amongst other things. The ‘mediator’, Nick, a former psych-nurse was very good and made it all relate to you whilst not being at all judgemental. Today, however, I am awaiting a package for Mr C. Sadly it is a beautiful sunny day, but hopefully the stuff will arrive this morning.

Before I go any further: happy birthday Dad!

I am hoping my (our) little Wagon R will survive this killer petrol epidemic! So far, there are no reports of cars conking out down in this part of the world, so I will keep my fingers crossed…

Little Daniel Radcliffe got good reviews for his first stint in Equus. Good for him, but if Harry Potter is anything to go by he can’t act to save his life, but hey, many, many people have made careers with much less talent. Equus had the most profound effect on me when I saw it as a teenager and has had perhaps the greatest effect on my attitudes and philosophies of any “art” thing other than The Catcher In The Rye, so lets hope it has the same power to some of Radcliffe’s “groupies”!

OK, I am annoyed now at the local recyclers, so I will close now before I get in to a massive rant and Charles says ‘less hate, more love’…
