Brrrrrr. It is cold. Very cold indeed. I suppose we have got away with an extremely mild winter so far, but that was no bad thing… Although it is a bad thing really, of course, as it is another symptom of global warming. I finished my training yesterday, so next it to go ‘in to the field’. I am really looking forward to that and it should hopefully be in the next few weeks. Today I shall be avoiding the cold as much as possible. Chicken has gone off to work wrapped up in his Yorkshire parka coat, which hasn’t seen the light of day for a couple of years. He has picked a bad week to leave his normal coat in his driving instructor’s car… Devon is all over the national news after the ’sinking’ of the Napoli and the subsequent scavenging of large amount of loot. It is quite amusing, seeing tractors scooting off with large motorbikes on the back. Less amusing if your in charge of the wreak, I’d imagine. |
