Revolutionary Rants

Because Everything’s Political

A day out in the Devonian capital

After staying up rather late to watch the Friday Night Project we awoke somewhat tired yesterday as the alarm went off at 8:00am (usually this would be a lovely lie-in…). It was, however, nothing a cup of French coffee and a hot shower could not fix and we were ready for the day by the time Mum picked us up. She almost couldn’t as a house on the street adjoining ours had caught fire over night and the fire people and the fuzz were out in force.

Luckily, she was allowed to collect us and off we set. We had a good day in Exeter, getting the material we needed and, in Mr C and my case, visiting Lush. Mum got me a bag from the collection my dress is from, which matches it, for the wedding. En route home we did a quick shop in Morrisons.

In the evening i read my paper, dozed on the sofa and then watched a strangely gripping French filmed who title was translated as How I Killed My Father. The two male leads were excellent and it was interestingly done as well. Today, Chicken has driving and there will be general laziness.
