Revolutionary Rants

Because Everything’s Political

Luck turning

I don’t believe it! After my luck with the tickets I sat down, post-shower, to get a Tesco online order as we have a voucher to use. I began shopping at 10:13 and happily added to our basket until I came to a item which i wanted to check, clicking on it for more details I found myself not with more information but with a request to re-submit my log in details… When I did I found myself devoid of ’shopping’ and delivery slot! I cannot be bothered re-doing it all now…

Better news, however, is that our card making stuff has arrived so we can get on with our wedding invitations soon. Excellent. Oh well, rant over. For now…

Bargain hunter

I am very pleased right now. I was sat watching the news at 8:30 when my mobile blurbled out and I realised the Eurostar tickets we needed were released today. So, off I went to their website and set about booking our holiday/honeymoon tickets. Hence me being pleased, because I got the return tickets to and from the city of light for only £24.50 each way! I love a bargain!!! OK, so only the hotel still to go - any reasonably priced suggestions welcomed!

I also find myself in the bizarre position of actually reading a Harry Potter book. I have never done this, but as I am currently Playstationing my way through not one but two Potter games I thought I’d give Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It is, as I suspected, not very well written and highly two-dimensional, but the story itself is utterly gripping. Oh well, makes a change from serial killer informational books, I suppose.

The weather is still grumpy here, but with a man killed near Taunton by a falling tree, Irish fishermen lost at sea and a near miss between a cargo ship and two gas rigs, we can’t complain…

The weekend is approaching fast and we have a trip to Exeter planned tomorrow.
