Mr Chicken pointed this out to me yesterday. Apparently it is now on display on the Tube in the capital, I really hope we get to see it is the flesh/paper next month when we go to visit Charles and see Monty Python’s Spamalot. A fantastic dystopian vision that is supposed to be comforting, I love it! It is just so 1984: “I love Big Brother!” … the most distressing ending of all time, the fact that the oppression becomes your comfort. Fantastic stuff, made me smile a lot to see it. It is blowing a gale here, quite literally, with gusts of up to 70mph according to the news. Further up the country (near the Scottish boarder) lorries have blown over, all over trains are canceled as are ferries. Reminds me of how it used to be in Ireland in the big winds. |
