A lot of old wind

It is definitely a dr martin day for me. It is pouring and extremely windy, rotten January weather it certainly is! I am off to find out my voluntary placement today. We have two more “briefing” days left before we are finally placed. I heard yesterday that all my lovely bridesmaids are now kitted out with dresses, which is great. The cakes are cooked and things are heading on! Now, shall I have a rant about the difficulty of getting children assessed for “learning difficulties”, let alone getting them the required assistance after that assessment? Shall I, shall I? Well, I could, but as I disagree with the current system of education full stop anyway - in that it merely prepares pupils to take exams and prepare for a life of doing what one is told and nothing much else - perhaps I had better keep my gob shut on this one. After all, the New Labour party can hardly have been called anything but hypocritical for the last twelve or so years… |
