Sadly, Chicken woke me at 8:00am with a nice birthday morning cuddle. After the necessary salutations I got his presets from the next room. My family are all giving him their present after school today or tomorrow at his birthday meal, plus his parents amazon offering has not yet arrived, so it was quiite a small present pile! A smashing lava lamp (replacement) bottle rom Chalres, which is now getting up to speed on the television table. A bottle of grand marnier and a (joke) packet of Hobs Nobs from my Nan. And from me, two Audrey Tautou films on DVD, a brandy glass, a chocolate cake and a day of surfing lessons! Sadly, just as C was tucking in to his full English the surf school rang to say there is a distinct lack of surf at Westward Ho! and his lesson has been changed from tomorrow to next Saturday. So, plans for tomorrow are now going to Exeter on the train for shopping and such and then for the meal in the evening. Today? Relax and enjoy the sunshine. Last night we enjoyed a pint or two at The Panniers with Alex, so tonight it is the bottle of bubbling Beringer we brought and maybe a DVD. Anyway, time for a bath! P.S.
