It is a strange feeling when one gets spam from oneself… Well, from the e-mail address that normally is your’s, anyway. Very odd. The ‘bitter’ MacCartney divorce grinds on. Who knows how much money Heather Mills will end up making, but I tell you someone who must be laughing all the way to the bank - “divorce lawyer” (I put it in quotes because I find it hard to imagine when she gets time to represent clients as she seems to have lived on my telly for the last three months…) Vanessa Lloyd-Platt. She is currently on TV daily, or so it seems, waxing lyrical about the latest ‘twists’ (a.k.a. media set-ups of twists) in the tale and telling anyone that will listen that pre-nups have little credence in English law. Following on from the de-masking of la anglaise, The Girl With the One Track Mind has been outed as a film runner named Zoe Margolis. I think really, if you wish to write a book based on your blog, you ought to expect a back lash [by backlash I do not mean she should be treated as she has been, but rather one should expect people to be interested, particularly in the current blog obsessed fifthteen minutes], particularly if it is of a ’saucy’ nature. Mind you, you wouldn’t have expected the Sunday Times to be the ones camping outside her house, would you? We have sent off for the pattern of my frock - I shall be all medieval. Our major problem at the moment is where on earth do you rent a sound system from?! Maybe the village hall already has one? We can live in hope. Today is my brother’s birthday (yes, all four were born in August!) so happy birthday Simon! We are off presently for a day trip to Exmoor to celebrate. |
