Revolutionary Rants

Because Everything’s Political

Bugger tradition!

Back again, I just had to link to this. Not only because I love it, but because I think Chris needs to have a good old read of it!!!!!!!!!

I was just watching Channel 4 News and the stock-market trader (of all people!) who did the money news bit today had done the taking both names thing, which I thought was brilliant, but this is even one up on that!

I have tried to get Mr C to permit to this earlier, so lets hope he’ll follow the (small) crowd!

Ha ha ha ha ha!

Well, Mr Sains-Boot does sound good!

Happy days

Here is some proof (if YouGov can ever be said to provide such a thing) that we made the right decision! I am not surprised to see that ‘only 28% in the South East said yes’. Up North is lovely, but - at least as high up as Yorkshire - the weather really lets us down, but in the South East (well, places like Reading at least) there is the worse complaint of no character and the work-a-day endless merri-go-round (imagine commuting in and out of London, with Tube, everyday… Shudder).

We have made our honeymoon decision - after the highly underwealming reponse on this very site to my poll. We have decided to go for the comfortable fit and head for Paris, although Florence is our next holiday destination, that’s for sure.

We are very much enjoying the Hayao Miyazaki season on Film4 and last night settled dwn to watch Laputa: Castle in the Sky. It kind of made me think of Silent Running (the most depressing film I have ever seen…), but a happier version! Tonight we have My Neighbour Totoro to enjoy!
