A busy and enjoyable weekend in Derbyshire. We went to a big old house turned hotel for lunch, where my veggie option was the highly imaginative dry pasta with peas stirred in, topped with one asparagus stalk and half a sun-dried tomatoe! Then, we had a first Boot/Sains parental meeting, which went well. Next stop is the wedding, i suppose! The rain is on and off now here but currently the sun is trying to reassume the dominance of the sky. Tomorrow I am off to the Big Sheep, near Bideford, with all my nephews and nieces! All good. |
