A New Beginning

Chris has started work this morning, at Abacus Tree in Barnstaple. We were both pretty nervous and excited, once again, about it, and now I just hope his first day goes well. Sadly, he’ll be missing out on the stunning weather in the office - but I will soon (hopefully!) be in the same boat!!! Yesterday we travelled to Devon, by train to Stoke-on-Trent (via Manchester) and then by car with my Mum from there. It was quite an easy journey, apart from it being so hot and there being so many England fans packing out the Virgin train to Stoke! I’ll be down here for a week, and then back up North to finish up my classes at York before the full move takes place in late June. I must admit, I can’t wait! As usual it is mixed feelings, but the sun shine down here, plus being closer to my family, will be great. And, perhaps best of all, having our own house, on our own!!! Oh well, articles to read, more later. |
