Went in to York today for another of the brilliant dissertation workshops we are supposed to attend. The river Ouse was almost bursting its banks, and had come over on to the riverside pathways in some areas! One of our favourite pubs was almost dripping already, so hopefully the rain will hold off for a few day. Not very likely, though, is it? Off out tonight to celebrate a friend getting a excellent sounding job. They all seem to be doing terribly well at getting jobs, so hope I can follow suit in a few months!!!!!!!!! Other than that life goes on with reading and general preparation - at least mentally - for our move! |
