We have now told almost all the important people we needed to tell first so: CHRIS HAS A JOB!!!!!!!!! It is as a Linux administrator in Barnstaple. We have very mixed feelings about leaving Huddersfield, as until recently we had planned on staying here for a few years and then heading to the South West later in life - and with more money behind us - but this job came up and Chris applied on the off-chance (thinking from the advert he would have too little experience to get it). But he got it! Not exactly sure what I will do now though, other than finish my dissertation and babysit! So, things are both exciting and sad at the moment, with a new life and job ahead but one we love a lot behind us, too… |
