Art and tuna salad

So, the trip to London was very good. Sandra and I headed off from a rain soaked Huddersfield, via Sheffield and an enormous cup of coffee, to the capital city of England.

Having checked in we decided to be proper tourist and head straight off in to the wide world of London. We went and viewed Nelson all wrapped up in scaffolding, Sauret and Van Gogh, the National Portrait Gallery, Covent Garden, tried in vain to get theatre tickets at Leicester Square and the National Theatre and ate tuna salad in Hyde park before bed.

The next day we visited Camden market, where Sandra bought the best skirt ever seen, and we were frightened by creepy goth shop keepers. Then we did a mamoth tour of the Natural Histroy Museum, the Science Museum and the Victoia and Albert Museum. Ater which we had a drink in Leicester Square’s Wetherspoons, brought lots of soy sauce in China Town and went back to hang out in Paddington.

A busy weekend indeed - and when I got back there was Chicken on the station with a half dozen red roses! Crazy sh*t…
