Back in the bourgeois

After a 6:30am start yesterday we are now in the South of France (which my friend calls my ‘bourgeois retreat’!). Today we went to Nice and ate pizza and walked the Promenade des Anglais. And went to damn Fnac, which was a pre-Christmas crush and hot as a sauna. There was a distinct lack of pistache ice cream though. So, time to go to the cottage and read before watching some of ‘Lost’ series deux. |
