Well, after yesterday’s self-abasement I am back to my self-absorbed musings… Today the sun actually bothered to fight against the clouds and come out! We drove down the coast, past Cannes, to Theoule. We had lunch and visited some artist friends of Chicken’s family. We also went for a swim in the blue Côte d’Azur sea. Lovely, and my first time here, as when we last came in the supposedly sunny months I still had an operation wound under my arm, ruling swimming out! It was nice, and stopped us all from going stir-crazy in the house as thunder rolled over head!!! I will not mention the f**king Arsenal result just now… And, by the way, neither should you… |
