Arghhhhh!

French thunder storms are something else. For one thing they are not really storms as they are endless. We had one that lasted from around 23:00 to sometime after 05:30 the morning after. It also featured some incredible claps of thunder, it seemed that the whole sky was splitting, and then the rumbles would echo and echo around all the hills surrounding Tourrette. Obviously, with my phobia we got little sleep! So, yes, we are here in France, a little annoyed with EasyJet after an incident involving a ‘final call’ (50 minutes before take off) which caused Chicken and I to run like nutters from our coffees, via small transport train thing, to the gate - which was not even open yet. Bastards. But, hey, it is Mr C’s birthday tomorrow, so it is all good. Also, for those like Chicken and I who like ‘Dr. Who’ (or, indeed, those like me, who like Mr Tennant!) here is a nice little link. |
