Mr Chicken has begun his last week at Oracle. He is, obviously, feeling rather sad to be leaving after a year there, and it feels like a strange time of transition for us both. I am quite pleased to be leaving, as I have had such a annoying year - on the finding a job front - but at the same time I am sad to be leaving the book shop, and my friends there, and our lovely flat. I will miss being able to have weekends at my parents and being able to see Chris’ brothers/family often. I will miss being able to get on the train to London if we want. I will really hate being back in the colder Yorkshire weather, but I will be very happy to spend more time with my friends up there again. Plus (almost best of all!) I get to work my mind again!!!!!!!!! It is mixed feelings really. It is only a year back up there, after all. |
