Do you know something very, very annoying? When you book tickets from thetrainline.com they often have completely the wrong times on them! For example, today, I am going back to Devon for just over a week for my second driving test (gulp) and I got up safe in the knowledge I had my ticket booked and my train would leave at 13:32.

Not so!!!

I just thought I’d check to see if the delays on the route yesterday were still carrying on, and low and behold my train doesn’t even exist! Lucky I checked or my brother would have been stuck at Tiverton Parkway for over an hour and I would have been very panicked!

Yesterday was also all fun and games - I got locked out of the house for almost three hours. I went to have a picnic with Chris near TVP and returned at about 13:30 (must be a bad time for me) to find my door would not open. I went to my estate agent’s for extra keys - back at 14:40 - no joy. My neighbour tried them out - nothing. I called my agents again: ‘we’ll send out our maintenance man, but he can’t come until 16:00′. I went to the local charity shop and brought a cheap book to read - 15:25 - until the bloke arrived at 16:00 and informed me that the handle spindle was badly fitted and had fallen through (meaning the handle would not work) and let me in.

Oh well…

And Wacko Jacko got off too - even on the smaller charges such a supplying alcohol to a minor. Just shows, money may not buy you love but it does buy a lot of things.Ho-hum.

What a world!
